ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

\nRN - Med Surg
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with 30-minute lunch break
\n• Weekend requirement: every other weekend (nights include Friday/Saturday/Sunday, days include Saturday/Sunday)
\n• Travel experience required
\n• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 (1:4 if COVID patients)
\n• Care for patients with infectious diseases including isolation, COVID, MRSA, C-Diff
\n• All 18 beds are private rooms due to infectious disease protocols
\n• Strong knowledge required in Med-Surg, infectious diseases, and isolation precautions
\n• BLS (AHA) certification required
\n• BSN degree not required
\n• No cardiac drips - may titrate Heparin and typical Med-Surg IV medications and antibiotics
\n• Remote telemetry monitoring from 3rd floor - RNs do not read or interpret strips
\n• May care for patients on CPAP, BiPAP, or high flow oxygen managed by respiratory therapy
\n• First to float to other Med-Surg units when needed
\n• Royal blue scrubs required - scrub jackets must be royal blue if worn, no hoodies or sweatshirts
\n• EPIC charting system
\n• 2-day orientation: 1 day EPIC training, 1 day floor orientation with preceptor
\n• Holiday work may be required based on unit needs
\n• Subject to call-off for low census depending on contract terms
