Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Media Planner to join our client's media team in Rochester, Michigan. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in developing and executing strategic media plans across various channels, including digital, paid, owned, earned, and broadcast media. Your ability to manage budgets, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and deliver innovative solutions will be essential to achieving client objectives. Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive media plans tailored to client goals across digital, paid, owned, earned, and broadcast channels.
• Manage media budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation to maximize campaign performance.
• Utilize tools such as Strata and Media Force to analyze data and inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with internal execution teams and external partners to ensure seamless campaign deployments.
• Conduct research using platforms like Comscore, Prime Lingo, and Google Analytics to support media planning strategies.
• Negotiate media placements and contracts to secure advantageous terms for clients.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on campaign analysis and performance metrics.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, media partners, and internal teams to foster collaboration and trust.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovative strategies.
• Deliver exceptional client service by addressing needs and exceeding expectations.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in media planning, including digital and broadcast channels.
• Proficiency in media research tools such as Comscore, Prime Lingo, Experian-Simmons, and Google Analytics.
• Familiarity with media planning platforms like Strata and Media Force.
• Strong skills in G-Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
• Previous experience working in industries such as Automotive, Financial, Healthcare, or Retail.
• Google AdWords certification or relevant training is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and negotiate media placements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with clients and teams.
