Software Engineer Developer needed for Royal Markets, Inc. (d/b/a Royal), located in Austin, TX. Job duties will be carried out in the Austin, TX Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Responsibilities include software development such as designing and implementing user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks, developing and maintaining reusable component libraries, creating responsive and intuitive user experiences, architecting and implementing front-end applications, collaborating with the design team on UX/UI implementation, and optimizing application performance and user experience.
This role also involves blockchain UI/UX technology development, including designing and implementing Web3 interfaces and smart contracts, creating secure and efficient blockchain integrations, developing user wallet connection systems and authentication, implementing on-ramp/off-ramp functionality for cryptocurrency transactions, architecting decentralized applications ( dApps ), and maintaining and optimizing blockchain-related infrastructure. Duties include designing user interfaces specifically for blockchain-related experiences, including user flows and interfaces for purchases in blockchain-based marketplaces.
Additi onal responsibilities include researching and prototyping innovative blockchain and web applications, analyzing market opportunities and technical feasibility of new products, designing and testing novel user experience patterns, developing proof-of-concep t implementations, evaluating emerging technologies for potential business use, contributing to product strategy through technical innovation, identifying opportunities for process and product improvements, and creating prototypes to validate new concepts.
Minimum salary: $155,709/year.

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or a closely related field (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in Software Development, specifically with experience related to blockchain UI/UX development. Blockchain technology experience is required and must include the ability to design user interfaces for blockchain-related experiences, including blockchain marketplace purchase flows, and experience with Web3 and modern front-end development.
