This position is under the direction of the Service Planning Manager, with guidance from the Service Development Planners and the Service Planning Assistant Scheduler. The Service Planning Administrator is responsible for the collection of ridership data, survey work, and the supervision and training of Data Collectors. The Service Planning Administrator also provides departmental backup support and assistance on special projects as requested.

Education and/or Experience:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in transportation planning, public administration, computer science, finance, engineering, urban planning, or a related field preferred. Experience with data collection, analytics, especially large data sets, statistics, field data collection, GIS, and/or accounting is preferred. Experience in supervision or leadership is desirable.
Salary Range: $63,748-$88,012 per year (Depending on Experience)
Compensation packages are determined based on a variety of factors specific to each candidate, including geographic location, skillset, the mix of relevant education, certifications, experience level, and performance. At Long Beach Transit, compensation decisions are made considering the unique requirements and circumstances of each position.
