NDT TECHNICIAN I
Location: 7007 Consolidated Way, San Diego, CA 92121
Duration: 6 Months+
Pay rate: $40
Schedule: 5 AM Till 2 PM (Mon-Fri)

This entry-level position requires the incumbent to learn, read, comprehend, and perform a variety of basic non-destructive inspection activities and methods. The goal is to assist with various parts, assemblies, tooling fixtures, and materials to ensure compliance with customer requirements, company specifications, and quality standards.

Typically, this position requires an Associate's Degree, Trade School certification, Military Training, or an equivalent background. Knowledge of NDT theory and techniques is preferred.

Computer Skills (required): Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing Methods, Theories, and Techniques.

Experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of metallic parts are advantageous. Aerospace industry experience is also preferred.

Additional qualifications include: Experience in manufacturing, military, or trade school certification, proficiency with hand tools, manufacturing machinery, and equipment, good time management skills, attention to detail, ability and willingness to follow instructions, and punctuality.

Potential future positions include NDT II.

Responsibilities include: Learning the foundational theory of Non-destructive Inspection, preparing parts for inspection, equipment setup and calibration, compiling inspection data, performing inspections under supervision, and adhering to all safety and quality policies.

Work as scheduled, on time, every day, observing the 'Three Circles' with a focus on Chromalloy Values.

Observe all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality Policies and Procedures.
