Northeast Tool & Manufacturing , an award-winning aerospace and precision machining company, is hiring an experienced Quality Manager to lead and elevate our quality function.

This is a critical leadership role in a high-mix, low-volume CNC machining environment. You’ll oversee a talented quality team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 standards. Key Responsibilities \n

\n
• Lead the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and compliance with AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015
\n
• Oversee and mentor a quality team including engineers, technicians, and metrology specialists
\n
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process control strategies (SPC, control plans, PCR, PPAP, etc.)
\n
• Manage all quality audits, internal reviews, and root cause corrective actions (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone)
\n
• Coordinate MRB processes, disposition of non-conformances, and supplier quality interactions
\n
• Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related communications with customers and suppliers
\n
• Champion a culture of quality throughout the shop floor and across departments
\n

✅ Qualifications \n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or similar field
\n
• 7+ years in quality roles within precision machining or manufacturing
\n
• 4+ years in a quality leadership position
\n
• 3+ years of experience in an AS9100-certified aerospace environment
\n
• Familiarity with GD&T (ASME Y14.5–2018) and quality tools (SPC, DOE, 8D, etc.)
\n
• Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) preferred
\n
• Strong communication and organizational skills
\n
