Systems Engineering

Join a fast moving, innovative, and growing team that is supporting a large federal client's Mainframe environment. The selected candidate will provide training, advisory and support the Mainframe and Virtual Tape Library configurations at DOJ.

Specific tasks include:

• Supporting the training of DOJ staff on the environment, configurations, and processes.
• Technical support and advisory services for upgrades and enhancement projects.
• Participating in meetings and discussions.
• Identifying problems and risks that could adversely impact performance, cost and/or delivery.

What You Will Need:

• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience.
• Experience with the following technology: Z/OS operating systems, WebSphere and Content Manager.
• Experience with and IBM File Manager.
• Experience with a Ticketing System (i.e.: ServiceNow).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
• US Citizenship is required.

• CA-TOP SECRET, Z/OS Products (JES2, TN3270, FTP, DB2, Websphere, CICS, Connect-Direct), Security Interfaces (SDSF, SMS, HSM, OMVS, CA-1, CA-Scheduler, CICS, DB2, PAGENT, VTAM, TCPIP, TELEVIEW, Connect-Direct, CA-OPS/MVS, ICSF), CA-CA1 (Tape Management System), CA-ENF, ICSF, Rocket Catalog Recovery Plus, Experience with Unix Systems Services.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$216,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
