This position can be in person or hybrid.

Our team is looking for an attorney who is experienced in transactional business law to join us. We stress the quality of life and quality of work at A.L. Harvey Law - come see how we are different from the traditional stuffy law firm.

Most importantly, we want someone who will fit in and can assist with the following tasks:

• Incorporations/Organizations and maintenance of the corporation for the client
• Contract Drafting, Review, and Negotiation
• Asset or Stock Purchase Agreements

We allow a hybrid schedule or fully in-the-office — you decide. We do want someone who has business law experience, but most importantly, we need someone who is friendly, personable, and willing to learn.

Compensation & Perks

• $115,000 - $125,000 annual salary
• Comprehensive healthcare coverage for full-time employees

• Assist clients with incorporating and organizing businesses
• Provide legal advice on corporate governance, operations, and compliance
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for a variety of business transactions
• Advise and draft legal documents related to asset or share sales
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients
• Handle limited business litigation matters if necessary
• Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and other tools
• Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals on behalf of clients
• Attend client meetings and conferences, representing the firm professionally

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in California
• Minimum three years of experience in business law, transactional focus
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Proficiency with cloud-based applications and legal research databases
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
