Position: Online English Teacher Berlitz is rapidly growing online and we are looking for English instructors to join our growing team! Job Description This is a part time meant to supplement one’s primary source of income. We ask teachers to commit to providing 4.5 hours daily availability, and we schedule classes only within that availability. We provide training and lesson plans! Much of the down-time in teaching is preparation, but we take care of the majority of that for you by providing well-designed lesson plans for all levels. Of course, we also take care of sales, scheduling, and billing, which is very time-consuming for a private teacher. And of course the other benefit is that there is no cost or time wasted in commuting. Successful applicants will be available for 4 hours/day at least 4 days a week and teach English using the Berlitz Method and materials. Between £17-£21 per hour Job Requirements The ideal candidate will be a native (or native-fluent) speaker and have experience teaching and some form of accredited ESL qualification Visa Requirements – While the position is entirely online, to be considered for this position you must currently both live and already have legal permission to work in one of the following countries: Americas: United States of America, Mexico, Columbia / Europe: UK, Greece, Italy, Serbia, Portugal, Germany /Africa: South Africa As this is an online position, we do need to know that our instructors can meet our minimum technical requirements: 5 Mbps download, 2 Mbps upload speed, a stable cable connection to the internet (wifi is not sufficiently stable), a pc or laptop running Windows 7 or higher, or Mac OS X.1 or higher, and a USB headset.
