\n\nOverview:\nThe Clinical Professional Development Practitioner (CPDP) serves as a professional development expert focused on the learning needs of new team members, experienced staff, and students. Collaborating with department leadership, staff, and interdepartmental groups, the CPDP evaluates learning needs and implements evidence-based education plans to ensure safe, competent, high-quality care for patients and families within a defined specialty or service line (e.g., Critical Care, Perioperative Services, Med/Surg, Ambulatory, etc.). In addition to supporting the educational and professional development needs of their assigned departments, the CPDP maintains clinical expertise by providing direct patient care.
