Spring Valley Hospital is a member of The Valley Health System , a network of six acute care hospitals that provide care for patients throughout Southern Nevada and nearby communities. Located in southwest Las Vegas, the 364-bed hospital offers emergency care, advanced cardiovascular and neurological surgeries and procedures, surgical services, women’s health, comprehensive maternity services, and a level III neonatal intensive care unit. Spring Valley Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission (“TJC”) and has achieved TJC Advanced Certifications in Primary Heart Attack, Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke, and Hip and Knee Total Joint Replacement. ER at Blue Diamond , an Extension of Spring Valley Medical Center, is a freestanding emergency department providing 24/7 emergency care to infants, children and adults. ER at Blue Diamond has achieved TJC Advanced Certifications in Acute Stroke Ready and Acute Heart Attack Ready.

Job Description:

To perform basic maintenance of anesthesia equipment and stock workroom supplies; to assist physicians as needed; to assist with invasive procedures and invasive pressure monitoring

Qualifications :

Education High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience Minimum two years anesthesia or critical care background

Technical Skills Ability to operate or ability to learn to operate equipment used in performing job responsibilities

License/Certification BLS Required

Other Knowledge of medical terminology
