\nThe position is responsible for turndown service at The Hotel Hershey.

\nJob Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
\nTurning down all guest rooms assigned and maintaining all items in good repair
\nCleaning assigned rooms when needed
\nReplenishing linens and supplies
\nReporting any missing items or damage
\nMarking and turning in all lost/found items
\nCalling to have light bulbs replaced
\nStocking cleaning cart for the next day's work
\nOperating a vacuum cleaner
\nReporting unsafe conditions
\nMaintaining a neat and orderly linen closet
\nReturning room service items to proper location
\nAssisting with the training of new turndown staff
\nPerforming other duties as may be assigned
\nQualifications:
\nMust be at least 18 years of age or older.
\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
\nFriendly guest service attitude, well-groomed appearance, and self-confidence.
\nSelf-motivated and capable of working alone.
\nAbility to turndown 30 to 45 rooms within a specified period of time and to operate a vacuum cleaner.
\nJob Demands:
\nThis is a part-time, year round position. The working schedule for this position may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
\nPosition is primarily second shift. However, working hours may include times between 5:00PM to 10PM, Monday through Sunday.
\nProper footwear to be provided by employee.
\nChemicals located in and around the workplace.
\nVisual ability to determine degree of cleanliness and ability to lift 50 lbs.
\nStanding, walking, bending, kneeling, handling, stooping, reaching, lifting and repetitive motions.
\nThis is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
