Our clients team is seeking an experienced Tax Attorney to join their collaborative and high-performing group in Los Angeles or San Francisco. No portable book of business is required for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Advise corporate clients on tax matters related to mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, fund formation, and cross-border transactions.
• Work with domestic and international public and private companies, as well as private equity and venture capital firms, hedge funds, and distressed debt funds, on the tax aspects of mid- to large-scale transactions across a wide range of industries.

Ideal Background

• Significant experience handling complex tax issues in M&A, fund formation, and private equity transactions.
• Strong technical understanding of partnership taxation, corporate restructuring, and international tax considerations.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Open to candidates at the Partner, Counsel, or Senior Associate level.
