Base pay range $14.00/hr - $14.00/hr About Us Hiring now for the Winter 2025-2026 season: This winter, Marea brings its signature coastal Italian cuisine and world-class hospitality to the mountains with an exclusive pop-up at The Snow Lodge , located at The St. Regis Aspen Resort . A collaboration between two icons of culture, cuisine, and style, the Marea x Snow Lodge residency captures the best of both worlds — the spirit of the Italian seaside and the soul of Aspen’s alpine allure. We are proud to be part of the globally recognized Altamarea Group, known for its commitment to culinary excellence and hospitality innovation. Sommelier Responsibilities include Actively engage in service, recommending wines, cocktail & spirit beverage pairings, and anything else needed to enhance the guest experience, and lead with a hands‑on approach. Stay knowledgeable and up to date on classic and new wines, and liquors. Assist in growing wine/beverage sales in the restaurant and develop strong guest relationships. Help maintain the wine cellar, the beverage storeroom, and assist in monthly inventories. Perform other duties as required by management. Sommelier Requirements 4 years of restaurant industry experience preferred, with 2 years of experience working with beverage. Solid foundation with Italian and French wine & spirits. Candidates should be highly organized, efficient, and be able to work precisely. Ability to multitask and plan ahead. Ability to teach and encourage the restaurant staff to develop their wine knowledge. Candidates should demonstrate creativity and a commitment to the brand success. Be able to walk, stand, grab, kneel, climb stairs, and hold up to 50 lbs. without any assistance. Must have a flexible schedule and open availability to meet business needs.
