Principal Software Integrator
Location: Huntsville, AL (100% On-Site)
Clearance Required: Active DoD Secret
The Principal Software Integrator will support the integration, deployment, and sustainment of complex software systems within a secure government environment. This role requires hands-on experience integrating multiple software components into a unified system, supporting both Windows and Linux environments, and collaborating across engineering teams to ensure system reliability, usability, and compliance.
Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) from an accredited university with 5 years of related experience; or
Master's degree with 3 years of related experience; or
PhD with 1 year of related experience.
Previous experience integrating multiple software components into a single operational system.
Experience with Windows and Linux system administration.
Ability to develop and maintain in-depth expertise in the GSS Launch Management Systems concept of operations and user interface.
Experience writing installation manuals and technical documentation.
Experience developing scripts using Bash, C Shell, and Python .
Experience working within the Atlassian toolset , including:
JIRA
Confluence
Bitbucket / Git
Jenkins
Artifactory
CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) certification meeting DoDM IAT Level II requirements.
Active, in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance required at time of start.
Experience with Ansible Automation Platform , including Ansible Tower .
Familiarity with Java and object-oriented development concepts.
