As a Security Officer - Government Building Patrol in ALBUQUERQUE, NM , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your routine patrols and exceptional customer service will contribute to a secure environment for all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and providing directions to visitors as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Work collaboratively with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
