Regional Account Manager – Public Sector (Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France)

We are currently seeking a dynamic Regional Account Manager – Public Sector , based in Nouvelle-Aquitaine , to support the growth of our business in the region. This role focuses on building trusted relationships across local and regional government , with particular interest in candidates who bring experience in municipal services, education, healthcare, or public research institutions .

You will act as the key Account Manager for public sector clients, guiding them through their cybersecurity transformation and promoting a security-first culture aligned with Fortinet’s values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Drive adoption of Fortinet’s cybersecurity solutions across assigned public sector accounts
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with decision-makers and influencers in local government and public institutions
  • Coordinate internal teams to deliver tailored proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and statements of work
  • Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices in alignment with French and European regulations
  • Serve as the lead contact for strategic account communications and executive updates
  • Maximize Fortinet’s impact while delivering value-added solutions to public sector customers
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting through CRM tools
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including channel managers, technical engineers, and consulting teams
  • Travel within Occitanie and surrounding areas as needed to support business opportunities

  • Consistent track record of quota achievement and account growth
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset with strong business acumen
  • Based in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, with flexibility to travel across the region
