Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Pastry Chefs to join our elite culinary team for a variety of event opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating visually stunning and delicious desserts, an eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments.
This role is perfect for pastry professionals who enjoy flexible scheduling and the excitement of working across diverse events and venues.
Responsibilities
Prepare, bake, and decorate high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts for catered events.
Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and flavor according to client expectations.
Collaborate with event chefs, coordinators, and kitchen staff to meet event timelines.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Adapt menus and recipes based on event size, style, and dietary restrictions.
Transport and set up pastry displays when required.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of professional pastry chef experience (event, catering, or bakery experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, recipes, and presentation standards.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks during events.
Reliable transportation to and from event locations.
Current Food Handler’s Card (preferred; higher pay rate for certifications such as ServSafe).
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
