Schedule : 35 hours/week
- Monday: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Tuesday and Thursday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (30-min lunch)
- Wednesday and Friday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (30-min lunch)
About the Role Our client is seeking a warm, professional, and detail-oriented
Medical Office Receptionist to join their private practice team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a patient-facing environment and is comfortable with medical office operations.
Key Responsibilities - Greet and assist patients at the front desk with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the office calendar
- Handle patient payments and maintain accurate records
- Support insurance billing processes and liaise with insurance companies
- Order hearing aids and assist with minor technical support for devices
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all patient interactions
- Provide excellent customer service
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the private practice
Qualifications - Must have prior experience working in a medical office or front desk setting
- Proficient with computers and scheduling systems
- Must have prior experience with insurance billing and patient payment processing
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
- Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- High School Diploma required; college degree is a plus
Note - This position offers 20-days paid time-off annually.
