Teach in Doha | Female A level Maths Teacher | British International School

I am looking for a very strong teacher of maths that can deliver up to A level standard. This is one of our best clients in Doha, which offers the UK Curriculum to mainly Arabic students where English not the first language. The nature of the school promotes Islamic values and ethos and so you will find little or no behaviour problems at the school.

Requirements to Apply

**Degree in Mathematics

**PGCE in Maths with QTS or valid teaching license

**Ideally 2 years teaching experience

**MUST have experience to A level standard

**Western trained

**Experience of teaching in an Islamic faith school is preferred

**Up to date with modern pedagogy

The school is located in Doha, and is fairly close to the centre of town. It has EXCELLENT facilities and has a very family friendly feel to the school. You will enjoy the ambiance in this school. Due to the success the school now has about 1400 students on roll. Teachers come mainly from the west but there also teachers from local Arabic countries.

**Attend Maths department meetings

**Plan and teach collaboratively

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Experience:

2 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)

Must be a native speaker of English

STRONG Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT's) can apply

Prefer candidates with international experience

Additional:

**Experience of the UK National Curriculum is essential
**Preferences given to those who have worked in an Islamic School setting previous
**Experience of Arabic Culture will be beneficial to your application

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 9000 up to 13000   QAR (Qatar Riyal)per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

Based on application  fully furnished Housing provided

Gratuity Amount:
