Job Description

This position is based in Orlando, Florida. The Marriott Orlando Downtown Hotel in Orlando, FL is searching for a M Club Attendant to join our team. Located in the Creative Village in downtown Orlando, the hotel has 297 guest rooms with views of the downtown Orlando Skyline. This great full-service Marriott Hotel has 15 meeting rooms with 15,992 sq. ft of space, an onsite Starbucks, Shade Bar and Grill, Fitness Center, and Outdoor Pool. Job description:

• Ensures that tables are properly set with clean and sparkling tableware.
• Assist Servers, Host/Hostess and Manager in all aspects of the dining experience
• Seat guests in absence of Host/Hostess.
• Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
• Deliver entrees to table, ensuring placement in front of appropriate guest.
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
• Fill and refill water glasses when needed.
• Assist servers in clearing tables during service.
• Bus tables ensuring removed dinnerware is stacked safely on side station tray.
• Ensure the proper set up and cleanliness of all side stations in the outlet, including bringing filled trays to the utility.
• Clean debris from tables, floors, chairs and side stations throughout shift, using proper cloths and sanitizer.
• Stock side stations with proper amounts of silverware, glasses, cups, folded napkins, etc.
• Complete end of day side work.
• Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to promote a clean, safe, and secure environment including:
• Safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.
• Follow Hazardous Material Management Program.
• Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE).
• Use the Lockout/Tag-out system before performing any maintenance work.
• Use correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury.

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

• Standing during majority of shift
• Regularly required to lift, reach with hands and arms, use fingers (keyboard etc.) to handle or feel.
• Lifting requirements of up to 20 pounds.
• Use of the telephone (hearing & speaking)
• Working in café/kitchen on tiled flooring; kitchen conditions may be hot; floor may be slippery (appropriate footwear required)
• Direct contact with guests, managers and employees.
