MedCadre is seeking a local contract Pharmacist for a local contract job in Newark, New Jersey.

Position Summary: The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring accurate medication dispensing, performing medication therapy management, and providing immunizations. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to contribute meaningfully in a focused, part-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
Accurately check prescriptions for compliance with legal and medical requirements.
Identify and resolve therapeutic, formulary, and prescribing issues in collaboration with providers.
Provide patient counseling for prescription and OTC medications.
Offer high-quality customer service and address medication-related inquiries.
Deliver comprehensive care through medication therapy management.
Conduct patient assessments and support individualized treatment plans.
Perform utilization reviews and ensure protocol adherence.
Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medication records.
Prepare and dispense medications using aseptic techniques.
Administer immunizations to facility residents and walk-in patients.
Stay updated on pharmacotherapy advancements and engage in continuous learning.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
Active Pharmacist License in New Jersey.
At least 1 year of experience in medication therapy management.
Strong communication and clinical assessment skills.
Customer-focused with attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
Schedule & Work Hours:

Saturdays Only

9:30 AM – 5:00 PM

8 guaranteed hours per week
