Geotechnical Engineer, Senior
Key Role:
Manage the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of physical infrastructures, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations. Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications: \n - 8+ years of experience working with the mechanics and properties of soil and rock, including their interaction with structures and underground facilities
\n - Experience designing, implementing, and monitoring environmental control systems to maintain regulatory and company environmental standards
\n - Experience conducting analyses of hard and deeply buried underground facilities and the surrounding geology under applied loads, environmental conditions, and weapons effects
\n - Experience in examining seismic, electrical, or electromagnetic data to characterize underground facilities and hard and deeply buried targets
\n - Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
\n - Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geoscience, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
\n - Certified Professional Geologist, Professional Geologist (PG) License, Certified Hydrologist (CHG), or Certified Environmental Geologist (CEG) Certification

Additional Qualifications: \n - Experience conducting environment al audits and developing solutions to environmental problems
\n - Experience managing and overseeing sites
\n - Experience utilizing GIS, statistical analysis, and analytical and modeling tools to model and analyze the weapons effects on natural and built subsurface conditions
\n - Experience supporting the DoD
\n - TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
\n - Master's degree in Geology, Geoscience, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
