Join a respected and mission-driven medical group in the Greater Sacramento area as a Float Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant . This hybrid position offers a balance of in-person and remote telemedicine work , covering clinic schedules and inbox management when other providers are on leave. When no coverage is needed, you’ll be assigned to same-day telemedicine visits, giving you a consistent schedule and the flexibility to work from home.

Position Highlights:

• Hybrid Schedule: In-person coverage only when needed (at any Elica Health Center location in the Sacramento area); otherwise, remote telemedicine for same-day visits.

• Flexible Hours: Choose between 8- or 10-hour weekday shifts. Full-time (up to 40 hours) or part-time (as few as 24 hours/week) options available.

• No Call, No Weekends, No Panel: This role comes with no on-call duties, no weekend shifts, no patient panel responsibility, and no supervision of other providers.

• Caseload: See 19–24 patients per day in a well-supported outpatient environment.

Qualifications:

• Active California license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

• Outpatient clinical experience strongly preferred, especially in primary care

• Adaptable to both in-person and virtual care settings

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting salary: $165,000+ annually, depending on experience
