Excellent opportunity for a qualified carpenter. Experience in rough and finish carpentry and other areas of residential construction/remodeling preferred. The carpenter must focus on product quality and customer satisfaction. Pay is based on experience and capabilities.

• Able to problem solve and troubleshoot
• Knowledgeable of construction methods and various trades such as demolition, framing, drywall, painting, finish carpentry, window, door, siding installation.
• Ability to interact and communicate well with the client, manager, subcontractors, and co-workers throughout the job
• Self-starter and independent worker with attention to detail
• Able to take directions
• Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment, bending, standing, climbing or walking. Good physical condition and endurance
• Must be able to safely use manual and power tools and equipment
• Must hold a valid driver's license and be insurable
• Great hand dexterity and an eye for detail
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.)
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings
• Must follow safety guidelines at all times
• Good knowledge of English
• Good understanding of basic math
• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
• Cut, shape, smooth, fabricate, and/or install lumber and other material according to measurements
• Inspect areas to conduct repairs or maintenance
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures when necessary
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
  Position Responsibilities
  The carpenter is responsible for the successful completion of the jobs given to them to include: completing on time, on budget, and maintaining a high level of quality, safety, and professional communication. Carpenters work indoors and outdoors, sometimes in tight spaces, on ladders and must be able to adapt to conditions and circumstances. They work with various hand tools and must keep their tools and worksite in a clean, safe condition. The carpenter may at times need to deal with customer requests, questions, and inquires in a polite and business-like manner.
