🔨 Estimator – Structural Steel

📍 Location: Nashville, TN area

🏗️ Industry: Structural Steel Erection & Fabrication

💰 Compensation: $90k- $110k (based on experience) + Quarterly Bonus

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate cost estimates to maintain project profitability.
• Perform detailed takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Work closely with vendors to secure competitive pricing.
• Prepare and submit proposals, following up to close sales.
• Collaborate with operations, project managers, and coordinators to align scope and schedule.
• Maintain pricing accuracy through sales orders and change orders.
• Conduct occasional site visits for project scoping.

✅ Requirements

• 5–10+ years of structural steel erection estimating.
• Strong ability to perform detailed takeoffs and collaborate with vendors.
• Experience in project bidding, proposals, and sales order processing.
• Working knowledge of construction scheduling and requirements.
• Proficiency with estimating tools/software.
• Strong interpersonal skills for contractor and vendor relationships.
