Overview:
Join a hands-on team at a leading tech company in Elgin, Illinois! Kelly® is hiring Electronic Radio Assemblers to support production. No experience required—bring your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Training is provided, and you'll gain valuable experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Position Details:

  • Term: Short-Term Contractor
  • Shifts Available:
    • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:15pm ($16.00/hr)
    • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:45pm–11:00pm ($17.50/hr)

Job Duties:

  • Assemble 2-way radios and advanced telecommunications equipment.
  • Alternate between roles: labeling, attaching components, inspecting, testing, and packing for shipment.
  • Operate automation to process components; manage mobile accessories and shipping cartons.
  • Follow computer station instructions; scan and pick parts and labels for assembly.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
  • Work as a team, assisting other areas and following directions.

Sample Tasks:

  • Attach labels and assemble using tools.
  • Inspect products for quality (screens, buttons, labels).
  • Test and pack finished radios and equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand and move through the work area throughout the shift.
  • Lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted or 50+ lbs. with team lift.

Qualifications:

  • Entry-level; no experience required, but previous assembly or electronics experience helpful.
  • Basic computer skills a plus.
  • Comfortable in a team environment; willing to be cross-trained.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
