Join our team and make a difference in patient care! The Lincoln/Lancaster Health Department is seeking a motivated and friendly
Dental Assistant to assist dentists and dental hygienists with clinical procedures while supporting day-to-day clerical operations. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong clinical skills, and enjoys working with diverse populations. Building positive relationships with colleagues and patients is essential.
Responsibilities include: - Performing dental assisting duties chairside in accordance with the State of Nebraska Dentistry Practice Act scope of practice for dental assistants
- Supporting administrative and clerical tasks, including patient record management
- Collaborating with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations and excellent patient care

Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program, eligible for graduation from an accredited dental assisting program: or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the desirable knowledge, abilities and skills.
Necessary Special Requirement: Satisfactory completion of a course study in dental radiology which is approved by the State of Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and Bureau of Examining Boards.
Hours: Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:45 AM- 4:15 PM with an occasional rotating Thursday evening clinic until 7:00 PM with an adjustable schedule within work week. Position is eligible for excellent benefits.
