As Cybersecurity Intern you will support and perform security assessment and accreditation activities on IT systems and applications including security and compliance audits, risk assessments, security plans, and performing system tests and evaluation.
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Intern. This role is a full-time internship role and is remote. The internship dates are June 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026. This internship is a full-time opportunity requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. Candidates must be available during core business hours (8:30 am EST to 5:00 pm EST) for the entire 9-week duration of the program. Please note that all work must be performed within the United States. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future. Required: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree, Junior status with 3.5 GPA or higher, Able to meet established deadlines, Works well in a team environment, Technical aptitude to quickly grasp and understand system functionality, Attention to detail, Ability to document procedures and take notes, IT network or systems administration experience
Preferred: Familiarity with compliance frameworks and IT controls is desired, but not required, Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+ (Sec+), Cybersecurity Analyst (CYSA+), or other security related certifications are desired, but not required
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards, Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc., Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
The pay range for this position is $20 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include medical coverage as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
