Job Description

Our client, a leader in precision manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated CNC Lathe Operator / Machinist to join their dynamic team. As a CNC Lathe Operator / Machinist, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of high-quality metal components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: CNC Lathe Operator / Machinist

Location: Chesterfield, MO

Pay Range: $22-$26/hr

Shift: 6am-2pm

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and CNC mills to machine metal components with precision.
• Write, test, and adjust CNC programs to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Fabricate custom fixtures to support machining operations as needed.
• Load and secure materials into fixtures or vises for milling and turning processes.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools and perform quality checks to meet blueprint specifications.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience as a CNC lathe operator or machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during the 2nd shift.
