About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Data Officer to lead the strategic use of data as a critical asset for client decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing a data strategy that aligns with business goals, establishing data governance frameworks, and overseeing data policies to ensure quality, consistency, and security. This role involves collaboration with technology and product teams to build scalable data platforms, leading enterprise-wide programs in data analytics, and promoting a data-driven culture. The Chief Data Officer will also be tasked with managing a global team of data professionals, driving data democratization, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards. Applicants for the Chief Data Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in data management and operations, with a strong background in large-scale data strategy and execution. Deep expertise in sustainability, mutual fund, equity, and fixed-income data, as well as investment methodologies, is essential. The role requires a strong communicator with the ability to influence and align stakeholders, extensive experience in data workflows, and familiarity with big data technologies.
