About the Role
We are looking for a Breakfast Baker to join our team at the Lakeview Hotel. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with food and wants to learn more about baking in a professional kitchen. In this role, you will help prepare breakfast pastries, breads, and other baked goods that make mornings special for our guests. You don’t need years of experience—we are happy to train the right candidate who has a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and an enthusiasm for food.
This is an early-morning position, perfect for someone who enjoys starting their day before the sun comes up and being done by early afternoon.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (or currently working toward one).
Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and cleanliness.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts.
Willingness to learn and follow directions.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous kitchen or food service experience.
Interest in baking, cooking, or culinary arts.
Responsibilities
Assist with preparing and baking breakfast items such as muffins, breads, and cake decoration.
Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality.
Keep the baking area clean, safe, and organized.
Help monitor inventory and restock ingredients as needed.
Work with the kitchen team to ensure breakfast service runs smoothly.
Skills
Attention to detail to follow recipes and ensure baked goods look and taste great.
Time management to complete tasks on schedule.
Teamwork and communication to support other kitchen staff.
A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
