Technical Source is currently in search of an P&ID Implementation Specialist for our client located in the Raleigh, NC area . The qualified candidate will have experience guiding or supporting the implementation of AutoCAD Plant 3D.

Responsibilities of the P&ID Implementation Specialist include:

• Guide and or support the implementation of a Smart P&ID system (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, Smart Plant P&ID) for data-rich, interoperable workflows.
• Convert and standardize turned-over P&IDs to meet project and Smart P&ID standards.
• Audit and validate P&IDs and 3D piping models for quality, compliance, and usability.
• Develop workflows to convert non-compliant 3D piping models into compliant formats, aligning with future strategies.
• Integrate piping systems into Plant3D or Revit, ensuring alignment with 3D models and specifications.

Qualifications of the P&ID Implementation Specialist include:

• 5+ years of experience with P&IDs and piping systems in pharmaceutical or engineering settings.
• Expertise in Smart P&ID systems (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, Smart Plant P&ID), pipe routing, and model conversion.
• Strong knowledge of piping layouts, Process Flow Diagrams, instrumentation, and model-data alignment.
