Job Description

About your role:

The Billing Processor accurately processes the required paperwork from retail sales and records the transactions. You will also ensure that the appropriate documentation is retained, and funding is completed for all sales promptly.

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:

• Process all paperwork from retail sales following lender and dealership guidelines.
• Submits “sold” finance products to the appropriate providers.
• Verifying the cost and transactions for each vehicle sale
• Ensures proper billing of all sold vehicles by setting up receivables & payables, etc.
• Research, resolve discrepancies within the billing process, and monitor and reconcile accounts.
• Remit finance and insurance products.
• Effective communication with operational staff.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Type of Experience Needed to be Successful:

• 1 - 3 years of experience in billing or other automotive accounting is preferred.

Specialized Skills:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel.
• Understanding of vehicle inventory accounting and schedule reconciliation is preferred.
• Excellent data entry and organizational skills.
• Must be dependable, able to follow directions, and work well with others.
• Strong desire to provide a high level of customer service.
