Hours may vary but most nights will be: 4:00pm-10:30pm

Today, Replacement Parts, Inc. and Crow Burlingame is made up of a corporate staff and several different companies, including Parts Warehouse Inc. (PWI) . We employ around 1,400 employees, in twelve (12) states, working at approximately 220 locations, all operating in the aftermarket automotive parts, paint and heavy-duty parts business. In 2019, our company celebrated 100 years of serving our communities as a privately held business with most of our employees spending the majority of their working lives as part of the "Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts" family.

The Route Delivery Driver will primarily determine the priority of deliveries, receive and review delivery orders for completeness and maintain a clean driving record while adhering to company policy. The driver will follow determined delivery routes throughout a geographic region set by the store’s sales area. The majority of deliveries will primarily focus on automotive replacement parts and may include the delivery of heavy-duty parts, automotive and industrial paint, and body shop supplies and equipment from our Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts retail store locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide exceptional customer service. This includes but not limited to: assessing customer needs, meeting quality standards for services and evaluating customer satisfaction.
  • Abide by rules of the road and laws for safely operating a vehicle.
  • Determine the priority of deliveries including the most timely and efficient route, when not directed by a Manager.
  • Review merchandise for delivery orders on completeness and clarity before delivery.
  • Make deliveries of merchandise on set delivery routes throughout a given sales area.
  • Maintain a clean and well running delivery vehicle by performing routine maintenance and inspections.
  • Ability to safely drive a vehicle in different weather and traffic conditions.
  • All other job duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer knowledge including web browsing and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
