Johnson County Community College Position, Department: Artist Model Undraped, Academic Affairs
Type of Position: Part-time Temporary, Non-Exempt
Work Schedule, Hours per week: Varies depending on department needs, 20 hours per week
Pay Range: $16.31-$20.77 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.
Benefits Category: Partial benefits
Position Summary: Serve as an undraped model for Fine Arts painting and drawing students in a course of study requiring the representation of the human body.
Required Qualifications: - Entry-level support role.
- Performs routine tasks as directed and under close supervision.
- Requires a High School Diploma and little to no related experience.
Preferred Qualifications: To be considered for this position we will require an application, resume and cover letter.
*Unofficial transcripts are required for all Adjunct faculty and Faculty positions.
Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to: - Undraped figure models pose nude for drawing and painting courses.
- Follow the instructor's art direction of the day and hold various form pose positions for short or extended periods of time.
- Retain positions such as standing, seated, or prone.
- Perform creative gesture poses and sustain them for varying periods of time.
- Maintain appearance, demeanor, and willingness to work cooperatively in studios at all times.
- Uphold utmost professionalism and maturity during modeling sessions.
- Maintain good personal hygiene.
